My name is Edwin Schieveld. I am a certified music producer. After 2 years of study, I obtained my diploma “Music Producer” after assessment (exam) by 3 music teachers. In addition, I also play Guitar, Keyboard (learning) and harmonica.
I work with Cubase 14. A fairly complex software, but once you know how to use it, it is a great tool for producing, mixing and Mastering music. I also use FL Studio 21 and Magix Music Maker. In addition, I also use Soundpools for making music or mixed it with live playing guitar.
In the past I jammed with friends every week which was always very nice. Now I only play alone using the Boss RC50 and then you create your own band. Very nice to do.
As you can see on my website I have also won several prizes. For me it was more the recognition and appreciation for the work that I made. Not for the Glory or Fame. I also made it to the Semi Finals in a Nashville Country Music Contest with a Bluegrass Country Song. I’m more a cross-over musician making all kind of music in different genres.
A music producer does not judge or condemn the diversity of music genres but just does his job with great pleasure. Everyone has his own taste. “Music is Just For Fun”.
